Abstract:
Considering the moisture-proof factors affecting structural durability, there are four main moisture sources for light timber building, including rain water, condensed water, moisture content of material and foundation moisture. Concrete moisture-proof and waterproof technical engineering measures are adopted for structural systems, such as foundation, wall and roof of light timber structure, to provide excellent design methods for moisture-proof of timber building. These technical measures have significant meanings for improving the waterproof and moisture-proof performance of timber building and ensuring structural durability.
