Abstract:
The numerical calculation software FLAC3D is taken to build the numerical calculation model for the highway with soft foundation, the spacing and cushion thickness of CFG pile and dry jet mixing (DJM) pile are changed to study the settlement and settlement velocity control of soft foundation by two types of piles, the analysis results show that, in the area of settlement control, the CFG pile is better than DJM pile, as well as in the area of settlement velocity control, with the same cushion thickness, with increase of pile spacing, the settlement of the ground increases gradually; with increase of cushion thickness, the settlement of ground increases gradually too. But after the cushion thickness reaches some degree, the variation of the ground settlement becomes smaller.
