Abstract:
The Tizi Mountain Tunnel of Nanjing-Hangzhou expressway is a wide-span, super-shallow buried and multiple-arch tunnel which passes through under a national highway. The construction design adopts the construction scheme of concealed excavation and three guiding holes, namely left, middle and right guiding holes are excavated firstly for temporary support and protection, and then the mid board construction is carried out and the main hole is excavated. Excavation of the main hole is also divided into left and right holes, and inverted arch is placed timely to form a closed structure. At last, the secondary lining is carried out to prevent the arch crown from settlement. It is proved in practice that the engineering constructions scheme is feasible and provides abundant experiences and references for similar tunnel construction.
