Abstract:
PK prestressed concrete sandwich panel, a new architectural roof system, is adopted in a general building project. Analysis is made on main technical performances, design and selection of such PK panel. Compared with cast-in-place reinforced concrete roof which is frequently used at present, the prestressed concrete sandwich roof has many new characteristics, such as it could be processed at factory and be produced in mass and could also save great labor forces. In engineering application, it has fast construction speed and high quality controllability, so scaffold and formwork could be effectively saved, noise pollution and building waste be obviously reduced.
