Abstract:
Bolts of 4 routine specifications are selected for bolt anchorage test of light-weight sintered shale brick masonry and four certain anchorage positions are tested according to brick hole shape and construction randomness. The test result proves that limit tensile strength will be increased after increase of bolt diameter and varies at different anchorage positions. It is suggested that bolt whose diameter is 10 mm shall be adopted during subsequent test and construction to satisfy safety requirements.
