Abstract：
National Stadium (Bird's Nest), as the main stadium for 2008 Beijing Olympic, has various characteristics, such as large scale, special shape, complex structure, high technological requirements and short construction period. Managements of construction schedule, safety, quality, cost and communication during construction are complex, so information-based management must be adopted to satisfy the high management requirements. Information-based management techniques, such as management information system, ePIMS+ collaborative working platform, 4D construction management system and visual monitor, are generally researched and applied to successfully improve the management level, realize refined management and guarantee smooth construction.
