Abstract:
In the paper, at first, the mechanics of the middle rock pillar and stress distribution of different width of middle rock pillar were analyzed. Then the reduced strength of FEM was used to research the effect of the stability of slope for different tunnel separation distance with bench cut method. The result shows that the deformation of middle rock pillar decreases with increasing of the width of middle rock pillar up to the some constant. That is, when the distance was up to twenty-four meters, the effect on the stability is small and neglected. At last, the correspondence safe factor of slope with 1.42 was calculated and relevant measure was put forward. And The conclusion was provided the references to tunnel design and construction.
