Abstract:
To investigate the sewage source heat pump system application in Changsha City, the relevant characteristics of the sewage are calculated. According to the practical parameters, precise calculation was made on the available heat(cold) energy in urban sewage. And quantitative comparison was made on the energy performance between the sewage source heat pump and conventional heating and cooling systems. The study results showed that: the available caloric in urban sewage is very large in the project; in the same heating and the refrigeration conditions, sewage source heat pump air conditioning system is more energy saving than the water-cooled centrifugal chillers + gas boiler systems; the total annual operating costs savings is ¥1 521 400; static investment payback period of 6.6 years. Thus there is feasibility of using sewage source heat pump in the project.
