Abstract:
In order to determine the working performance of clustered piles under horizontal load, the influence of different pile spacings on horizontal bearing performance of clustered branch piles is researched through indoor model test on the basis of both domestic and foreign research results. During the test, working parameters of clustered branch piles are researched, including horizontal displacement of bearing platform top, strain (bending moment) of pile body and earth pressure around pile. The research results show that forces and deformation characteristics of two-pile clustered piles under horizontal load are different at different pile spacings.
