Abstract:
The Grand Theater of Shandong Provincial Culture and Art Center has 2 underground layers and 8 aboveground layers. Its foundation is treated with CFG piles which are drilled by using long spiral drill and constructed by using pipe pumping concrete technique. Considering that the empty drilling segment is long, the over-filling height is set as 2m so as to ensure the concrete quality on pile top. Thereafter, foundation pit dewatering and earth excavation are carried out, and then piles are cut manually in batches. This construction technique is proved to meet the design requirements through various inspections, such as low strain test, high strain monitoring, single pile vertical compression capacity inspection and composite foundation bearing capacity inspection.
