Abstract:
A viaduct in Wuhan is 1410 m long and it adopts a superstructure composed of nine segments, which are mainly made of straight steel box beam with same section width and height or specially-shaped prestressed concrete box beam. The expected purposes of this project, such as reasonable division, accurate welding, small welding residual stress, proper CO2 gas shield and small temperature influence, etc., are successfully realized through reasonable planning of division, effective welding arrangement and control of construction temperatures.
