Abstract:
Steel structure of the main entrance of Sanya Haitang Bay International Shopping Center adopts arch truss and multi–camber spatial drum node square tube shell combined roof system. The roof edges are positioned on concrete base and trusses are supported by isolated oblique steel arches, to form a column–free spatial structure. During construction, the roof shell is assembled, welded and lifted in segments according to unit nodes on site. Meanwhile, difficulties in construction of such structure are successfully solved through simulative calculation by MIDAS software and termination of temporary supporting points and unloading scheme.
