Abstract:
With the purposes to increase the rigidity of expanded stories on existing building and to solve the defect of rigid superstructure and flexible lower structure, PKPM2010 structural design software is adopted to simulate the separate storey-adding expansion on existing building. Three different methods for storey-adding expansion on existing building are compared with each other to respectively analyze their natural vibration period of vibration mode, inter-storey displacement and inter-storey angle under earthquake. Structural reliability is analyzed on the aspects of structural integrity, rigidity evenness and aseismic performance. It is proved that the aseismic performance of the improved integrally expanded structure is better than original integrally expanded structure and separately expanded structure.
