Abstract：
The sustainable development of building involves triple bottom line, which is a combination of people, planet and interests, and runs through each stage of development of the whole construction.By analyzing the relationship between people, the earth, the interests and the protection of historic
buildings, as well as the intertwined history of sustainable development and the protection of historical buildings, it expounds the importance of regional and community connectivity. By means of the case of CCI center protection project, it also shows the classic combination of architectural history, community economic revival, environmental management and construction.
