Abstract:
Foundation soil of a 4–storey building is deep saturated soft silty soil, so settlement–controlled composite pile foundation design is adopted. After construction, it is found that the building inclines northward. Various incline rectifying methods are adopted, including load–piling incline rectification, dewatering incline rectification and water–flushing and soil–removing incline rectification, etc., but these methods don't have obvious effect. Finally, pile cutting incline rectifying method is adopted to successfully solve the incline problem. It is found that pile cutting incline rectification is safe and effective for buildings supported by piles.
