Abstract:
The underground exhibition hall of the Watertown Square is 10.22 m high, its roof is a dense rib beam structure and the axial spacing among junior beams is 3m. Formwork is supported highly and in a large area, so there are great construction difficulties. The support system was composed of bowl-buckle type steel tube scaffold and fastener type steel tube scaffold. The formwork system design was innovated to set single row of vertical pole along the axial line of the beam bottom. The main skeleton at the beam bottom is made of through-type steel tube and it was also used as the upper horizontal pole of the formwork carrier, successfully ensuring the integrity of the formwork carrier.
