Abstract:
A kind of self-insulation material made of waste foam glass, fly ash, and FGD gypsum as main raw material is prepared using three molding methods, such as vibration molding, coating molding and layered casting. Researches on the performance of the insulation material and compare the appearance of insulation specimen. The test shows that using layered casting has the best appearance, the thermal conductivity is between 0.10~0.14 W/(m2·K), strength can reach more than 0.5 MPa, the minimum dry density is 539 kg/m3. Performance indicators meet the requirement of related standards.
