Abstract:
Crack on thermal insulation system of external wall had a strong impact on the appearance, thermal insulation effect and safety of a building. This paper carried out experimental study on deformation, crack and shedding defects of external wall thermal insulation system caused by dimensional change of thermal insulation material. Three frequently used types of organic thermal insulation material were tested, such as extruded plastic polyphenyl board, molded polyphenyl board and polyurethane, etc. Dimensional changes of the thermal insulation material under different ageing time and temperature were tested and analyzed. Potential risks under application of some types of thermal insulation material in 75% energy-saving building were concluded, providing references for deformation, crack and shedding defects of external wall thermal insulation system.
