Abstract:
Due to universality, high bearing capacity, cuplock steel tubular supporting frame is used widely in engineering construction. With the different reasons, the collapsed accident of cuplock steel tubular supporting frame has occurred frequently. In order to study mechanical properties of supporting system, the MIDAS finite element analysis has been done. It is found that the semi-rigid connection properties on cuplock supporting system more accurately reflect the state; the initial defect can be simulated by virtual horizontal force; the bearing capacity of cuplock steel tubular supporting frame can be simply calculated by reduced the elastic modulus of cross bar of the rigid frame model.
