Abstract:
Permeable concrete is a kind of porous, lightweight, green ecological building material, Permeability and strength are a pair of contradictory performance indicators. The effects of different types of admixtures (fly ash, basalt fiber, EVA polymer emulsion) on the strength and water permeability of permeable concrete were studied. The results show that the double-mixed fly ash with EVA polymer emulsion or basalt fiber with EVA polymer emulsion can ensure that the permeability of the permeable concrete is basically the same, the compressive strength is improved by more than 20%, the flexural strength is improved by more than 30% , to achieve enhanced strength of permeable concrete. But the incorporation of three kinds of admixtures is not conducive to the improvement of the strength and water permeability of the permeable concrete.
