Abstract:
Tests for concrete with fly ash, concrete with slag, concrete with flash and slag after cyclic loading of four different load level which were 0%σc, 50%σc, 65%σc, 80%σc (σc is compressive strength limit) were conducted. The water absorption of surface was observed and the influence of load level on suction head and water absorption rate. The result showed that: When the load is smaller than 50%σc, pore structure produces elastic deformation and micro cracks develops slowly. When the load is between 50%σc and 65%σc, a few of cracks in concrete specimens appear. When the load is bigger 65%σc, most penetrating cracks appear. As the load level increased, the suction head, water absorption rate and porosity are increased significantly. Power exponent can describe the relation between suction head h and t1/2.
