Abstract:
This paper takes a practical framed high–column in large long-diameter ratio as a analysis object in petro-chemical engineering, and free–vibration analysis have been done for this type column. The analysis indicated that framed high–column structure is a multi-system static-coupling structure composed of column and frame. It keeps a original mode behavior of single column and pure frame structure, and period will be changed due to the effect of deformation coupling mutually. The coupling effect influence to bend mode, and not to torsion mode. The numbers of deformation coordinate constraint will influence the degree of coupling of column and frame, but not to fundamental frequency. Analysis also indicated engineering design for this type structure cannot referred to single column, and shall be based on multi-system composed structures.
