Abstract:
Groundwater treatment is a big problem in subway interval construction. Covered tunnel excavation encountered rich-water powder fine sand stratum. Although tube well dewatering or full-face deep-hole grouting could solve groundwater problem at a large scale, there was still residual water at side wall and arch. Based on practical application of vacuum groundwater drainage in covered subway interval excavation, this paper introduced the working principle of dewatering, performance parameters, construction technique, advantages and disadvantages, and proposed measures for residual water drainage during subway interval powder fine sand stratum excavation.
