Abstract:
This paper made a study on the mechanical tunnel excavation process of mining method, including small pilot pipe setting, earth excavation and arch truss erection, etc.. Average daily driving speed is 1.5~2 times artificial construction. This method is safe and reliable, and has favorable construction environment. It is applicable to different strata, and could realize safe, effective and environmentally-friendly construction and reduce work intensity. It has been successfully used in construction of Beijing subway line 16.
