Abstract:
Considering the problems in optimization of heat transmission and distribution system, k-ε turbulence model and numerical simulation method were used to study internal flow characteristics of straight pipe, reducing pipe and five types of three-way pipe with different included angles, and to analyze the pipe wall shear stress and its reduction rate at different positions of different types of pipe. It was found that system power consumption could be further reduced and energy efficiency could be increased by mounting reducing pipe at inlet and outlet of water pump and boiler and setting oblique-three-way pipe between the inlet and outlet pipe of water pump and general pipeline of heating system.
