Abstract：
Many intrinsic construction problemsmay be encountered during application of external wall exterior insulation construction technique in general existing residential building energy-saving rebuilding project，such as base surface situation，fire hidden dangers，node tricky，and so on. This paper proposes relevant external wall exterior insulation construction measures and suggestions applicable to existing residential building energy-saving rebuilding through analysis and study on the characteristics of external wall exterior insulation construction in general existing residential building energy-saving rebuilding project, and introduction on engineering practices, with the purposes to give a full play of the energy-saving function of exterior insulation system in the whole energy-saving rebuilding and to ensure the construction quality of exterior insulation system and safety of structural connection.
