Abstract:
Performance-based fire design refers to determining the fire design scheme by establishment of fire scene and analytical calculation according to the practical conditions and relevant data of building. Guangdong Science Center involves some construction difficulties, such as large area of fire compartment, difficult security evacuation, smoke exhaust prevention and fire prevention of steel structure, etc. Such measures as adoption of performance-based fire design, increase of fire escape stair and setting of natural smoke exhaust vent are used to design and simulate the fire scene, discuss the building fire safety and determine the reasonable fire protection scheme.
