Abstract:
Frost-resistance of self-compacting concrete of C60 has been studied from both of macro and micro respects. The macro-study results indicate that the frost-resistance of self-compacting concrete of C60 does not reach 300 cycles of freezing and thawing, it can be mixed with air entraining agent to ensure its frost-resistance. Frost-resistance of self-compacting concrete is similar to high strength concrete with freeze-thaw damage, which a major factor is the fatigue stress on temperature changes during freezing and thawing. The micro-study results indicate that concrete air content, bubble spacing factor; micro-pore size distribution had a relationship with the durability index of self-compacting concrete of C60.
