Abstract:
Self-compacting concrete has advantages such as lower consumption, protecting environment and compacting, which is getting more and more widespread application in the engineering structure. However, the shrinkage is the main factor for the application of self-compacting concrete. Expansive agent and other factors with regard to the shrinkage performance of self-compacting concrete were analyzed and investigated based on the 36 self-compacting concrete prism tests. The results show that the development of shrinkage will be delayed by adding expansion agent and the shrinkage performance of self-compacting concrete will be affected by the additive amount of expansive agent.
