Abstract：
Many factors may cause water penetration at windows on external wall, such as excessive indoor windowsill width, weak packing of clearance between structure opening and window frame (or subframe), "post-inserting" installation of external window and "adverse slope" of external windowsill, etc. Correction measures are to improve the node structure and construction method during design and to strengthen field construction management, so as to obtain favorable construction effect.
