Abstract:
Physical properties (air tightness) of external window, indoor and outdoor temperatures during heating in winter, indoor noise and infrared thermographic inspection of windows on external facade of building, etc. before and after window rebuilding are tested, and the data before and after rebuilding are compared according to the test results, to analyze the energy efficiency of external windows of existing buildings after rebuilding. The analysis result indicates that installation of sealing strip on existing external window and change of single-layer glass window into double-layer glass window may obtain obvious energy efficiency.
