Abstract:
The movable bridge over Haihe River in Tianjin is a double-leaves vertically movable bridge, which has wide span, large opening angle and wide deck. After consideration of its structural mechanical characteristics and navigation conditions, half-bracket cantilever assembly method is put forward to combine traditional bridge construction methods together, such as bridge erecting machine, temporary steel pipe support and bridge assembly by using cantilever, etc. Navigation conditions and mechanical characteristics are well satisfied during construction of the movable bridge. Equipments for lifting steel box beam exert high efficiency, construction period is shortened, construction is cost saved, favorable social and economic benefits are obtained.
