Abstract:
CS1 compressor station in Kazakstan is located on collapsible and expansive soil where is of unfavorable geological condition and produces huge difficulties to construction schedule, quality, safety and cost. During construction of CS1 compressor station, potential risks in foundation are successfully eliminated and building safety is effectively protected through correction of disqualified preliminary geological exploration report, improvement of foundation treatment design, construction control and optimization, foundation inspection. Construction period of foundation treatment is shortened by more than 2 months.
