Abstract:
Presents the practical application of external wall shading in hot summer and cold winter area, and from the angle of wall by solar radiation heat-affected, explains the effects of external wall shading on building’s thermal environment and air conditioning energy consumption. Taking a typical residential building in Nanjing zone as an example, with the help of the dynamic energy consumption simulating software DeST-h developed by Tsinghua University, this article simulates and analyses the coefficient of taking external wall shading measures to reduce the absorption of solar radiation of exterior surface on building’s thermal environment and air conditioning energy consumption, for two different kinds of external wall structure, and proves simulation results by the experiments.
