Abstract:
Gabled frame usually adopts end-plate connection, which is semi-rigid connection. After analysis of relation curve for stable bearing capacity of hinge connection and rigid connection of column feet changing after relative rotational stiffness of node and stiffness ratio of beam column, it is obtained that stable bearing capacity of rigid frame is in direct proportion to rotational stiffness. Finally, a table of coefficients for length calculation of rigid frame column is given for engineering application.
