Abstract:
Saddle-shaped cable-net is a new large-span space structure. The temperature is an important factor that affects the mechanics characteristics of the saddle-shaped cable-net, and the impact is more obvious with the greater span. Based on the saddle-shaped cable-net structure, a finite element calculation model has been established, thus the research of mechanics characteristics on saddle-shaped cable-net was carried out. The results of calculation indicate that the change of temperature has a great impact on the mechanics of the structure, and it also affected by the types and expansion coefficients of cables.
