Abstract:
Segment-assembled bridge pier has many advantages, such as fast construction, low pollution and reliable construction quality, etc. At present, it is mainly used as infrastructure of some cross-sea bridges in China and is comprehensively used in expressway bridges in foreign countries. After research on pseudo-static test simulation of segment-assembled bridge pier with dry joint of energy-consuming prestressed steel bar without bond, the simulation calculation results indicate that prestressed steel bar without bond could reduce residual displacement of bridge pier; ordinary steel bar could enlarge hysteretic loop area and increase residual displacement, while improving yield strength and ultimate strength; proportion between prestressed steel bar without bond and ordinary energy-consuming steel bar shall be determined according to the effective rigidity required in design and residual displacement which is repairable after earthquake.
