Abstract：
Bell tower in Jinling Middle School is not only a architecture heritage with very important historic culture value, but also a school building with key seismic fortification. Based on reinforcement and repair project of bell tower in Jinling Middle School, Some key questions in the reinforcement and repair design of the kind of building are roundly discussed, including the methods of testing and appraisement, foundation reinforcement, brick wall reinforcement, seismic reinforcement, etc. Some effective methods are introduced to solve the problems.
