Abstract:
The RC beams with web openings have a wide application prospect in engineering, which enable the equipment pipes across from, so as to reduce the store height of the building. However, comparing with the normal RC beams, the RC beams with web openings have some effects on strength and rigidity because of the web holes. In this paper, based on the main RC beam with continuously web large holes in the waiting hall of Wuguang—Zhuzhou railway station, using finite element software ANSYS, nine finite element models with different parameters are designed to analysis the influences of web holes layout mode on the mechanical properties. Furthermore, the steel plate strengthening RC beam with web openings is also analyzed. And then some appropriate recommendations are made for design.
