Abstract:
Using prototype load test method, FRP resin quartz sand pavement plate mechanics test was completed and the test process was simulated with ANSYS finite element analysis software in order to contrast results of test and numerical simulation. The results show that the testing results of deflection value and plate bottom stress value are consistent with numerical results. The FRP resin quartz sand pavement plate’s plate bottom stress value is small under the design load or overload, but the deflection value is increasing too much. So deflection value is the critical factor to application of FRP resin quartz sand pavement plate.
