Abstract:
The red clay is distributed diffusely and unevenly in the southwest of China,so it brings a high demand for disposing the base of airport. The examination works for different disposing efforts on the red clay where thickness is less than 10 meters by the way of dynamic consolidation using cushion or none. After a series of tests such as single point of dynamic consolidation method, the average amount of earth subsidence observations and wave velocity,the red clay foundation treated with dynamic consolidation method is met the airport design requirement.
