Abstract:
This paper thinks some issues about Building Integrated Photovoltaic(BIPV),e.g. forms of BIPV, life of PV modules, design of PV components, pollution and energy calculation in the manufacture process of photovoltaic system. Comparisons of several cases show that we should balance both function, economy, technology and beauty of BIPV, rather than just high combination. According to the market development, PV structure design should be focused on the maintenance and replacement of photovoltaic cell modules, instead of only prolonging their lives. In order to solve the disadvantages of the existing PV structures, we design a building PV structure which is very convenient in maintenance and replacement of PV components.
