Abstract:
This paper detailedly study the effects of dry density , water content and structure on Soil Water Characteristic Curve of unsaturated weak expansive soil by conventional Pressure Plate, fit the Soil Water characteristic curve by Least Squares Method with Van Genuchten model and Fredlund-Xing model, and emphatically analyses the Influence of structure on soil-water characteristic curve. The results showed that the fitting effect of Soil Water characteristic curve is good, when two kinds of models are used to the fitting of compacted expansive soil and undisturbed soil, the Fredlund-Xing model is better for the fitting of improved expansive soil with lime.
