Abstract:
During concrete grouting of cast-in-place side span of super-high pier, triangular steel bracket needs to be installed on pier body and balanced weight is required. Imbalanced counterweight construction technique is used for cast-in-place side span of the super-high piers of a continuous large-span steel structure bridge crossing over the Yellow River. After scheme design and analysis, the construction practice proves that this technique successfully satisfies specification requirements, saves construction cost and shortens construction period.
