Abstract:
The roof of the gymnasium is a complex structure system composed of rigid central ring assembled with welded steel pipes, central spheric shell, radial truss, tensile cable and supporting system. The pre-stress cable truss is the main load-bearing structure and the focus of the construction. The establishment of pretensioning method, simulating calculation and monitoring of construction have rationalized the arrangement of pre-stress cable, strengthened the structural rigidity effectively, and reduced the vertical deformation of the structure.
