Abstract:
Reinforced concrete cylinder wall develope from single cylinder to multiply-connected cylinder (cylinder-in-cylinder), whose slipform construction faces overall technical challenges and integrated innovation, such as operation platform system, formwork system, hydraulic lifting system, construction measurement and control system, power distribution system and construction organization and configuration, etc. Key techniques involved include: load design and calculation; hydraulic jack selection, analysis on lifting capacity and supporting rod bearing capacity, number of hydraulic jacks configured; test of hydraulic system; supporting rod idle slipping reinforcement technique; steel reinforcement positioning and concrete pouring techniques; control on slipping speed and travel distance; supervision and correction techniques for slipform construction, etc.
