Abstract:
The 1-D transient hydrothermal model for multilayer wall was established by using air humidity ratio and temperature as the driving potentials. Regard the well-known conduction equation as sub-model which neglects the moisture effect. Results calculated by hydrothermal model are compared with the results calculated by the sub-model. This comparison results showed that moisture transfer have strong effect on hydrothermal performance of multilayer wall. Omitting moisture transfer will cause large errors and can't predict the temperature distribution accurately. Furthermore, it will cause the air conditioning load have a great deviation and this will have a bad effect on the air conditioning operation effect.
