Abstract:
Risk assessment is critical for large scale projects to meet the high requirements of construction safety. In this paper, risk factors and events are identified, and logical relationship is established in use of fault tree analysis(FTA) method with the combination of the work breakdown structure(WBS) and risk breakdown structures(RBS). A new method based on parameter modification is proposed to quantify the coupled effect among risk factors and events. It is proved that risk identification can be comprehensively achieved by the new method and reference can be provided for risk assessment of building operation safety.
