Abstract:
In a podium building curtain wall engineering, longitudinal cable of point-supported glass curtain wall and variable section welded I-beam web plate of point-supported laminated glass canopy cross through each other. In traditional construction, the variable section welded I-steel cantilever beam is used as a segment of longitudinal cable to connect two unrelated force systems. The structure is analyzed by using various methods, such as functional positioning and arrangement selection. An innovative structure which uses cable-through tube to replace the cross segment of variable section welded I-steel cantilever beam web plate. In this way, the two force systems are completely separated from each other, ensuring service functions, realizing convenient installation process and reducing the construction cost.
