Abstract:
The advent of spray heat exchanger for sewage heat pump system(SHPS) has had a significant improvement on the heat extraction from the sewage and fouling control and removal, in contrast to the conventional submerged-tube heat exchanger and the shell and tube heat exchanger. Thus, the SHPS with the spray heat exchanger is suitable to be used to extract heat from sewage in the sewage treatment plant, theoretically. Most of the relevant researches related to spray heat exchanger for SHPS were theoretic study. In this paper, a real typical SHPS with the spray heat exchanger in a sewage treatment plant was used to simulate the performance of the SHPS. The temperature of the sewage was from 10 to 30℃. The heat supply, input power, COP, side outlet temperature heating water of the condenser of the SHPS was discussed. It is helpful to improve the design and the performance for the SHPS.
